The Opening and Robe Ceremony of Yalova University for the 2025–2026 Academic Year was held on December 9, 2025. During the ceremony, the faculty members of our department donned their academic robes to celebrate the beginning of the academic year.
The ceremony, organized at the Mehmet Okul Congress and Culture Center, was attended by the Governor of Yalova, Dr. Hülya KAYA; the Rector of the National Defense University, Prof. Dr. Erhan AFYONCU; our university’s academic and administrative staff; executives of political parties and non-governmental organizations; and members of the press. The program began with the opening speech of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet BAHÇEKAPILI.
Following the opening speech, the ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates and the academic robe ceremony.
