The members of the Faculty of Medicine Unit Quality Coordination held a meeting on September 18, 2025. During the meeting, various topics were discussed to enhance and ensure the sustainability of the quality of education and training within the faculty.
Key agenda items included accreditation processes, the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP), the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER), and the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle.
The coordination members were provided with detailed information on the quality assurance processes defined by the Higher Education Quality Council of Türkiye (THEQC). Informative presentations were delivered on the preparations required for the IAP process, the principles of drafting the ISER, and the effective use of the PDCA cycle in quality management.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the necessary steps for institutionalizing a culture of continuous improvement and quality in the Faculty of Medicine were evaluated, and planning was carried out for the upcoming period.
