Health Tourism Workshop Being Held in Yalova
Yalova, one of the first cities that comes to mind when it comes to health tourism, is hosting the “Yalova Health Tourism Workshop.” The workshop, which started on October 8, will continue for two days.
The workshop is being held in partnership with the Yalova Governorship, the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the Yalova Tourism Union, and the International Tourism and Health Tourism Association (ELTÜRKDER), which is responsible for the organization. The event is attended by Yalova Governor Muammer Erol, Deputy Director General of International Service Trade at the Ministry of Trade Ali Alperen Kaçar, Rector of Yalova University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, our Faculty’s Founding Dean and Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Vefik Arıca, our Faculty’s Vice Dean Dr. Burcu Gürer Giray, Provincial General Assembly President Hasan Soygüzel, Provincial Culture Director Şeref Tali, institution heads, private sector representatives, and academics.
During the workshop, Prof. Arıca also gave a speech in which he stated that our university will continue to support the development of health tourism in Yalova, both through relevant departments and the Thermal campus.
