Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, accompanied by our Vice Rectors, Prof. Dr. Serdar Geri and Prof. Dr. Ümmühan Avcı, visited our Faculty of Medicine and met with our faculty members.
During the meeting, which took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, views were exchanged on the educational and academic activities carried out at our faculty, increasing academic productivity, and strengthening scientific research. Listening to the assessments and suggestions of our faculty members, our Rector emphasized that high-quality medical education and scientific development are among the fundamental priorities of our university.
Our Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Nurşah Başol, thanked our Rector for his contributions to the development of our faculty and to enabling our students to begin their medical education in Yalova. Expressing her belief that his support would continue to grow during the new period following the reappointment of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı as Rector, our Dean presented him with flowers.
