Quality Coordination Orientation Presentation Conducted

On April 28, 2025, the Quality Coordination Orientation Presentation was held with the participation of our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Senay Yürür Karslıoğlu and the University Quality Unit Coordinators.

The presentation covered topics including the accreditation process, expectations of YÖKAK (The Higher Education Quality Council of Turkey), the PDCA cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act), and the importance of internal and external stakeholder involvement in decisions and processes.

It was emphasized that the institution has an identity independent of individuals, and even if people leave, everything should continue as well as or better than before. The necessity for the institutional internal evaluation report (IIER) to be objective was also highlighted.

Information was provided about the functioning of the BKYS system (Institutional Quality Management System). The presentation also addressed external institutional evaluation and accreditation criteria and scores, reminding our academicians of their responsibilities in this process.

Questions from academicians regarding the process were answered, and the meeting concluded with clarifications related to the ongoing procedures.
