An orientation meeting for the new faculty members who joined our School of Medicine this year was held on August 19, 2025, in the faculty meeting hall.
The meeting began with an opening speech by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Nurşah BAŞOL, who welcomed the new members and provided information about the academic structure, educational activities, research opportunities, and the institutional vision of our faculty.
As part of the orientation program, informative presentations were delivered on various topics including faculty administration, quality assurance processes, ethics committees, student affairs, research support, institutional communication, and the use of the University Information Management System (UBYS). In addition, participants had the opportunity to meet with the administrative and academic units they may interact with in their future roles.
The meeting, designed to help new faculty members adapt quickly to their new environment, concluded with a feedback survey in which participants shared their thoughts on the orientation program. Through the survey, they contributed valuable insights for improving similar future events.
