Dr. İsmail Sağ, Assistant Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Yalova University, successfully performed the sixth cesarean section of a 31-year-old patient, L.Ç., diagnosed with a high-risk pregnancy, at Yalova Training and Research Hospital following meticulous planning by a multidisciplinary team.
With maternal and fetal safety at the center of the process, this challenging procedure was successfully completed through meticulous surgical planning and comprehensive coordination among the medical teams. Thanks to the organ-preserving approach employed during the successful surgical intervention, the integrity of the patient’s uterus was preserved, and both mother and baby were discharged in good health.
This significant achievement once again demonstrates the knowledge and experience of the Faculty of Medicine’s qualified academic staff, the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, and Yalova University’s commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services to our region.
