As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, observed from October 1 to 31, our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Nurşah Başol, and Vice Dean, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mine Tepetaş, attended an informative seminar organized by Yalova Training and Research Hospital to highlight the importance of early detection of breast cancer and raise public awareness.
During the seminar, held in the hospital’s conference hall, General Surgery Specialists Dr. Elif Tufan and Dr. Aydın Eray Tufan provided information on breast cancer risk factors, symptoms, screening methods, and diagnostic and treatment processes.
We would like to thank all healthcare professionals who contributed to this meaningful event, organized to protect public health, promote awareness of early diagnosis, and increase public awareness of breast cancer.
