The first meeting of the Yalova Emergency Clinical Practices Meetings (YAKUT-I), organized by the Department of Emergency Medicine at Yalova University Faculty of Medicine, was held on May 12. The inaugural gathering of this series, which aims to bring a fresh perspective to emergency medicine education in the region, attracted significant interest.
The guest speaker of the meeting was Prof. Dr. Oktay Eray, one of the leading figures in the field of emergency medicine. During the session titled “Updates on Sepsis,” Prof. Dr. Eray shared insights on early diagnosis criteria, time management in the emergency department, and critical intervention steps in light of the latest guidelines.
The YAKUT meetings will continue to address the core topics of emergency medicine alongside current literature.
